What Jeremiah Says: Brendan Brazier is a vegan triathlete.  Let me say that again: he is a vegan triathlete. Back when he was doing this (and even still today), it was unheard of for athlete’s to neglect the massive amounts of protein to be gained from eating meat. Brazier used his body to experiment with the kinds of foods that would optimize his potential as an athlete. He quickly realized that his body would recover much quicker when digesting protein from sources other than meat. Thrive or (The Thrive Diet) is all about how Brazier developed his vegan nutrition guide and of course, contains plenty of recipes, (which, by the way, are quite scrumptious)! In Thrive Fitness, Brazier briefly reintroduces the principles of his first book and expands upon them for athletes (or non-athletes) who want to optimize the physical condition of their body.
